Book Week 2024 in Far North Queensland

I had the honour of spending Book Week 2024 in Townsville, in beautiful Far North Queensland. (It’s tough work in paradise but someone’s gotta do it!)

I spent the week in schools sharing about writing, doing live interactive book readings, writing workshops, storyboard workshops and a radio interview.

I met so many budding authors and illustrators who were filled with creative ideas and together we began to bring their stories to life through the workshops.

School Libraries and Teacher Librarians are amazing! The school library was a hub of activity at the heart of each school, a place where kids could explore and discover books, a love of reading, and connection.
